Pacific Northwest charmers AVEO return with
another fine album of delicious pop. Battery is
an elegant blend of hope and devastation; a lush
terrain of unconventional chord structures,
stylish melodies, and chiming guitars, and a
treasure-trove of subtle lyricism. The band has
toured with Death Cab For Cutie and the
Dismemberment Plan, and have received comparisons
to The Smiths, The Cure, and Mission of Burma.
Produced by PHIL EK (Built To Spill, Unwound,
Modest Mouse).
